My Philosophy of Care

Every body and mind is unique and special. With acupuncture, my goal is to identify the individual areas that need some extra TLC, while working to get you to an overall place of optimum health. This may mean something different for everyone, but the beauty of acupuncture is that each treatment is customized to you, and the unique person that you are. I use a very gentle approach to treatments, and together, we will figure out how to get you to that place of optimum health!

My Personal Background

I am so blessed and humbled that this medicine has welcomed and enveloped me as much as it has. Prior to starting school, I was relatively unfamiliar with acupuncture and East Asian medicine, but it soon found its way into every part of my life, and I fell deeply in love with its power and beauty. I am so excited to share the lineages and workings of this medicine that my teachers and ancestors have taught me. I like to sneak my way into a patient’s heart and make them fall in love with this medicine as I did. And since I’m sure you were wondering, the way to my own heart is through chocolate cake, vintage records, and used bookstores.”

Patient Testimonials

“I have been getting acupuncture since 2014. I have a painful autoimmune condition that allopathic doctors have been unable to manage. I have seen many practitioners for it and have had the most success with consistent acupuncture treatments. I have lived all over the United States and Sarah is by far the best acupuncturist I have ever been to. My first appointment with her I was experiencing severe pain, stress, and anxiety. Sarah made me feel very comfortable right away and asked comprehensive questions. After my appointment I felt so relaxed I couldn’t get off of the table right away. I was blown away! After consistent treatments, my pain and anxiety were gone. I had my quality of life back.” - Kristin

“Sarah is the most kind, caring, and thorough provider who is very professional. She asks and addresses any and all concerns and provides wonderful recommendations for daily life following treatment. After my first session I felt so vibrant and had significantly less pain - not to mention, I slept like a baby! Sarah is the best acupuncturist I have had and has the softest touch. Highly recommend her to my family and friends!” -Carly

“Whether you have had acupuncture before or this is your first time, Sarah’s comprehensive approach and calm energy are sure to make you feel better. Acupuncture is not a quick fix but extremely powerful! From my years of struggling with a complex illness I know now that it’s always better to get to the root of the problem. I trust a medicine that has been around for over 3,000 years and feel Sarah has really mastered it.”
